The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting a delegation of Indian officials for the Refineries Performance Optimization Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) on January 17-24, 2018 in Chicago, IL and Houston, TX. The delegation will include high-level government officials and company representatives from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas as well as state- and privately-owned oil and gas companies.
During the visit, the delegation will have the opportunity to meet with U.S. government officials and company representatives showcasing equipment, processes and technologies that can advance the needs of India’s oil and gas industry. The itinerary is designed to support Indian decision-makers in their efforts to address an increasing demand for petroleum products as India continues to be one of the world’s fastest growing consumers of energy. This visit will also provide an opportunity for U.S. companies to learn more about upcoming procurement opportunities in India, including $27 billion earmarked by the Government of India to expand refining capacity.
USTDA will introduce delegates to relevant U.S. engineering and consulting firms as well as technological and operational best practices that Indian oil and gas companies can employ for the following: process and performance optimization opportunities, such as petrochemical conversion, bottoms upgrading, and data/analytics for refining, among other relevant topics.
This visit is being organized by USTDA’s contractor, Experient Inc. For more information about how your company or organization can participate, please contact Marycella Dumlao at Marycella.Dumlao@experient-inc.com.
